I’ve redone the main battery link and got things ready to be swapped over tomorrow. There is still a fair bit to do but I’m confident I can get most of it, if not all of it done before stream tomorrow night.

The skies have been clear today and I’ve had the new lithium batteries changing on solar all day. I’m going to run the van for a bit and hopefully get them up to fully charged.

I’ve decided to start tonight’s fright night stream at 9pm instead of 7. This is the old start time for fright nights and I think it works better. This way we aren’t hovering around the van for hours, the stream will start in the cemetery.

VLOG #7 (SUBSCRIBER ONLY) https://tygatti.com/blog/2024/07/03/vlog-7-subscriber-only/ https://tygatti.com/blog/2024/07/03/vlog-7-subscriber-only/#respond Wed, 03 Jul 2024 06:41:58 +0000 https://tygatti.com/blog/?p=96 Cold and wet one today, I decided to stay in the same spot and finish off a few things.

I finished the battery box today and it should make things a lot easier. I’ve been struggling with power and reception for a few months now, starlink solved the reception and I’m hoping this solves the power issues.

The battery box contains a kings 120ah lithium battery and is charged by a kings 25amp dc to dc with a built in mppt controller. The battery box needs to portable so we can power stream equipment in the field. This setup isn’t much over 10kg and I think is going to fit its purpose well!
